The Most Important Beauty Facial Skin Care Tips For Women

Looking for that perfect beauty facial skin care tip? How about going “all natural”? There are a growing number of experts (doctors, nutritionists, cosmeticians, etc) who believe that anything you put on your face should be natural and safe enough to eat.

Practically all cosmetics contain preservatives and other chemicals that can be absorbed through your pores. Since, some of the common ingredients are known to cause cancer, rubbing them all you’re your face or anywhere on your body, really doesn’t seem like a good idea. With that in mind, we found five masks that you can cook up right in your own kitchen, suggestions for lightening age spots or dark circles and a little advice about buying all natural skin care products.

Beauty Facial Skin Care Tip for the Eyes

You may have seen this in TV shows, but it really works. To lighten dark circles under your eyes, wrap a grated raw potato in cheesecloth and apply to eyelids for 15-20 minutes or you can simply use cucumber slices. You will notice that your eyes feel cooler and when you look in the mirror, you will see less puffiness and dark areas will look lighter. Wipe off the residue and apply a restorative eye gel. The best ones contain COQ10, vitamin E, brown algae and other nourishing ingredients.

Beauty Facial Skin Care Tip to Relieve Dryness

This mask is created using 1 tablespoon of olive oil and 2 of fresh cream. Mix the two together and apply to the face. Wait ten minutes and rinse. It’s very simple, but hydrating and also nourishing. Make sure that both the olive oil and the cream are fresh and contain no added flavorings or preservatives. Use about once a week.

Beauty Facial Skin Care Tip For Excessive Oiliness

Most products on the market are too harsh. They strip away too many of your natural oils that protect your face from the damaging elements. But, when you have excessive oiliness, there are food products that will absorb some of the oil, because they are naturally acidic, thus slightly changing the pH balance.

You can mix a tablespoon of honey with one egg white (not the yolk) and apply thickly to your forehead, neck and other problem areas. Leave the mask on for 10 minutes. Then wash with a mild cleanser.

Honey and egg white are sometimes difficult to mix. You can also use two tablespoons or more of papaya pulp, with at least 10 drops of lemon juice. Apply as you would any other mask. Leave for 20 minutes and then rinse well. You’ll see papaya and avocado masks in the stores, but they contain preservatives and artificial fragrances and colors. Making your own is safer and just as effective.

Any fruit juice contains vitamin C, which is naturally acidic. When used in a facial, they refresh, stimulate circulation, close pores and act as an antioxidant destroying free radicals produced after exposure to the sun. Cooked and mashed carrots and honey can also be used.

Beauty Facial Skin Care Tip for All Skin-types

Honey is one of the best masks, but active manuka honey is the most effective. It can be difficult to find, but is available in one of the better all-natural skincare lines.

Before the honey is applies, you should put a very warm damp towel over your face to open your pores. Following a 20 minute soak in honey, rinse off with warm water. Follow with cold to tighten and close the pores. You can use this about once a week. Yogurt and honey or fruit juice can be mixed together to create a thicker and more nourishing mask. Follow the same directions as above. Use only plain, unflavored yogurt.

Our final beauty facial skin care tip is this; if you are too busy to make your own, look for 100% natural ingredients that nourish, heal and allow the skin-cells to repair themselves. The best products are made by a New Zealand company and sold only directly from the factory, so they cost less than department store varieties.

Do It Yourself Facial: Six Steps to a Beautiful Face

I like to treat myself to an at home facial once a week. Everyone should indulge in a facial regularly to deep cleanse the skin, shed dead skin cells, break down discoloration and to supercharge their skin with a potent blend of moisture, antioxidants and beneficial healing.

There are six steps included in this facial and each step is very simple and very beneficial.

Step 1. Cleanse your skin. Moisten your face and work your cleanser into your skin for about one to two minutes (the cleanser needs time to penetrate the layers of skin and draw out dirt and debris), then rinse with a warm, wet washcloth.

Step 2. Scrub. Work your scrub into moist skin for one to two minutes, moving in circular motions over the entire face. Rinse with a warm, wet washcloth. I prefer a gentle scrub of baking soda and water with one drop of Frankincense essential oil, which is excellent for wrinkles and damaged skin, or Helichrysum essential oil which is a powerful antioxidant and overall skin beautifier.

Step 3. Warm Compress – Don’t Steam! Steam is water which has been raised to a temperature of 212 degrees – that’s extremely hot. When such a high temperature comes into contact with the skin it is very traumatic for the skin and can even burn the skin. It can even break down elasticity and collagen in the skin over time as well. Instead use a warm compress. A beneficial compress can be made from lavender (calming, anti-fungal), chamomile (inflammation, cooling), yarrow (redness) and rose (tightening, elasticity). Place about 2 handfuls of fresh herbs or 3 Tbsp dry herbs in a pot filled with water. Boil, then cover and let steep for 30 minutes. Soak a cloth in the mixture, wring it out and lay it on your face until cool. Repeat several times to soften the skin and pass the herbal benefits into your skin.

Step 4. Extraction. Once the skin is softened I like to use a blackhead extractor to extract any pimples on the surface of my skin. However, it’s very easy to tear and traumatize your skin with this tool, so be very gentle when using this tool and use light pressure. Before and after using the tool sterilize it with alcohol. If you want to go this step without an extractor then wash your hands and wrap your index fingers in tissue and gently press both sides of the pimple for a clean extraction.

Step 5. Mask. Apply a thin layer of your mask and leave on for about 20 minutes. Remove with a warm, wet washcloth. If you have trouble removing all of the mask then use a little of your cleanser to remove any remaining mask which may be linger on your skin.

Step 6. Moisturize. Apply a moisturizer to your skin to seal in moisture. I love using jojoba oil as a moisturizer because it contains wonderful nutrients and has antibacterial, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, moisturizing and soothing properties. It’s wonderful for skin!

You’re finished! Now go out and face the world, beautiful!

Organic Face Care – Beautiful Skin Without The Chemicals

When it comes to looking great, people have tried just about everything to have healthy looking skin. Some of the stuff that was tried throughout history are known poisons and even did a lot of damage to the skin before they tried something else. Skin care and cosmetics companies quickly realized that they needed to test their products on animals before selling it to test for toxicity and other effects, but animal rights activists finally got that type of testing outlawed. The reason companies needed to thoroughly test their products is because of all the chemicals they use to make their products. But companies that make organic facial care products have a much easier time because all their products don’t use those chemicals.

It seems like just about every chemical in existence was tried at one point in time or the other. Even dangerous chemicals like arsenic and formaldehyde were used in a variety of products, and many of the chemicals in use today makes you really wonder just exactly what these companies are thinking. And virtually every product made from traditional methods is packed with one kind of preservative or other. In order for their products to stay usable for as long as possible without degrading and breaking down, preservatives have to be included. With this mix of chemicals and preservatives in traditional products, is it any wonder people have skin issues?

Organic facial care products take a completely different approach. By using organics that are actually good for the skin, not only does the skin look and feel better, but it’s healthier too. This means that people who have had issues with skin types, from dry skin, oily skin or the dreaded combination skin may actually see their skin type normalize because the skin tolerates and even needs all natural products to be its best. Regardless of the product needed, being able to use an organic based product instead of a chemical based one makes for better, and maybe even easier, skin care.

And it doesn’t matter which product you want to use. Whether you’re looking for skin care products like exfoliators, cleansers, scrubs and masks, there are organic versions available. Even all the cosmetics like powders, bases, blushes, eyeliners, lash extenders, lipsticks and lip gloss all have organic versions available. The best thing about organic products is the fact that they do at least as good a job as their chemical filled counterparts, but usually do an even better job. Check out all the great products available and take better care of your skin with all natural face care products. You’ll be glad you did when you look in the mirror and see how great your skin looks.
